Why more girls need to get an education

Michelle Obama shares an inspirational message that aligns with CCFC’s mission

Millions of girls around the world are not in school, but Michelle Obama, the former American first lady, encourages them to fight for education in the video below.

“If we get our education, we can do anything — we can lift ourselves up to heights we could never imagine,” she says in the video. “We can pay forward all the love and support our families poured into us. And, we can truly be … builders of a new day.”

At Christian Children’s Fund of Canada (CCFC), we help girls around the world overcome obstacles — such as child marriage, violence and exploitation — so they can go to school and build the skills to change their future.

Watch the zuciya.com video below to see how important it is to empower girls, and give a gift today to keep them in school.
