Children have the power to create change for the world

Watch this Global Goals video, and join us in celebrating children making change in their communities

Children and young people have what it takes to change their community when they’re seen and heard. Look no further than this Global Goals video depicting youth from around the world taking a stand and making their voices heard as they successfully fight for their human rights.

“We are bottled up with great potential; we have the potential in us. If you don’t make a move now, you may regret it in the future,” says a student activist in the video, who noticed an educational gap and fought to improve his community.

Many of us want to spur inspiration and change so there’s peace, equality and prosperity for all — just like the world is doing by working towards the United Nations’ Global Goals. At Children Believe, we advance child rights and protection. In fact, in 2020/2021, 200,000+ child, youth, parents and others were trained to defend child rights.

About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.

About Childfund Alliance

A member of ChildFund Alliance, Children Believe is part of a global network of child-focused development organizations working to create opportunities for children and youth, their families and communities. ChildFund helps nearly 23-million children and their families in 70 countries overcome poverty and underlying conditions that prevent children from achieving their full potential. We work to end violence against children; provide expertise in emergencies and disasters to ease the harmful impact on children and their communities; and engage children and youth to create lasting change and elevate their voices in decisions that affect their lives.
