Canadians are supporting lasting change worldwide through the pandemic

Watch the update on how our federal government is a guiding force in making a positive difference

For Children Believe, it’s more important than ever to work with partners and governments to help vulnerable people around the world weather the pandemic. And, the Canadian government continues to provide much-needed support, as noted in a recent video they’ve shared.

“We’re fighting hunger and enabling access to nutrition for the world’s most vulnerable, making sure all children have access to quality education, defending women’s rights,” says Karina Gould, international development minister for Canada. “It’s clear now we will not be safe in Canada until the rest of the world is healthy and safe again.”

For Children Believe, government support coupled with dedicated single donors are making it possible for us to help children, families and communities around the world overcome COVID-19. We’re providing lifesaving education, personal-protective equipment, food rations and cash vouchers, child protection and education supplies. About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.
